Doomcaliber Knight is a Card that is usually Tough to get in Real Life. It was 1st Introduced in a SJC. Later it was Reprinted in the 1st Turbo Pack as an Ultra Rare. Today, Many People have used this card for various reasons. Let us Analyze This Card Now.

Doomcaliber Knight Review DoomcaliberKnightSJCS-EN-UR-LE

Attribute : Dark
Type : Fiend
Level : 4
Effect : This card cannot be Special Summoned. When an Effect Monster's effect is activated, you must Tribute this card. Negate that effect's activation and destroy the monster.

As You Can See, It has an interesting effect. It Can Negate Any Effect That Activates in the Hand, Field, Or Graveyard. Yes This Card can devastate your opponent when used Correctly. No Honest, No Kalut, No Sangan, Etc. Doomcaliber Knight's effect surpasses Skill Drain as you have to pay Life Points in order to activate it and even then it only negates effects on the field.

Although Doomcaliber Knight Has His Own Weaknesses. First of all, You Only Can Use it Once as where Skill Drain stays on the field. Second, the effect is mandatory so your opponent can choose who's effect is going to be negated. Third, It Can Negate You Own Monster's Effect and destroys it. So You have to be careful with the card.

Now, What Deck Would Doomcaliber Knight fit in well? Well Let's Review, Doomcaliber Knight can be Quite a Beat Stick with 1900 ATK Points. Also Since he's going in the graveyard when an effect activates, He can be fodder for Chaos Sorcerer, Dark Armed Dragon, And even the less popular Dark Necrofear.

Deck Tests:

Anti-Meta Chaos Deck

With The Mention of Chaos Sorcerer, Yes He Can Be Used In Chaos Decks. The Most recommended would be an Anti-Meta Chaos Deck. Doomcaliber Knight's Prominence runs in this kind of deck. He Is Used Primarily With his effect creating Control Over the Duel. He can also be Used as Fodder for Chaos Sorcerer. People Run 2-3 Depending on their Taste in this deck.

Caliber Cat

Sometimes, Doomcaliber Knight can be used in decks that are Meta. Consider The Deck Caliber Cat. True Almost All Monsters in that deck have effects, But Doomcaliber Knight is there for some Control Action. This Deck runs on careful precision in Doomcaliber's effect as it can be either negative or positive depending on your play style of him. Anyways, The Deck Variation Is Quite Efficient.

Those Decks Have Been Tested By Myself and they have their prominence in duels. Obviously, Many People have seen Doomcaliber Knight in play as it's quite common now'a days.

Card Rating : 8.5/10

Doomcaliber's Efficiency can be varied in decks, so he totally deserves some credit. Doomcaliber Knight is recommended for Intermediate/Advanced Players as some beginners might have trouble coping with it's effect.

Hope You Enjoyed The Review, Have A Nice Day Very Happy

Doomcaliber knight is a pretty usefull card in this format. you forgot to mention 1 of the most popular decks where doom caliber is the big boss tho, and thats Doom Gadgets. Many Players think doom caliber knight is not that good cuz it can block your strategies and slow you down, but thats absolutly wrong.

Doomcaliber Knight will stay on the field maximum 3 turns, i never saw one DCK stays on the field more longuer than that and if he stays on the field more thant it, it means you have the control of the duel. eveyone use effects and this monster will go to hell soon enough XD but before going to hell he will protect you from a threat like Ryko can be or even stop gorz if your going for an OTK.

thx for the review Ray Wink
