Hey everyone, as most of you know I am a final year student and so, I have to write my dissertation... The question is, how can you help me? The answer is simple. The work I am writing is related to YGO and if you play IRL and are at least 18 years old (cannot be younger because of legal purposes) PLEASE fill in a short online questionnaire for me.

Hey guys, your friendly neighbourhood Absol is here with huge, HUGE news for you all.

See the dorms in the middle of the home page of the forum? Well, exactly one week from today, they're going to be GFX-less and at the bottom of the forum.

Why? Because on February 26th, as the staff has decided, the dorm system will be removed, and those forums will be pseudo-archived. Everyone will be taken out of their dormitories, if they are in one, and thus will be free to join a team that is owned (at least at the start) by one of our staff members; you will see these teams being made in the next week while the countdown clock to dorm wreckage is ticking down. Once the new system is officially in place, you may join these teams as you please, and we'll try to get some wars and whatnot together (as well as individual events, should there be enough activity) to occupy you folk.

tl;dr Dorms gone, teams in their places, join them how you wanna, we'll try to keep things competitive.

So yeah, one week. Get pumped.

Hey guys, Gallade here.

With DGA really starting to get back into gear, we're thinking a lot about trying to build upon the 'Academy' part of Dueling Genesis Academy. Thus, we're putting together a team of writers to better educate the populace of the forum about the game and how to play it even better than you can now.

Not to introduce a double standard, anyways, but some of you whom I do not know or who are less proven, if you apply, will have to PM me, well, an article of course! This is just a sort of application for you, so I can make sure you're of a high enough echelon to join the squad.

If you're accepted, great! I'll keep you on watch while the staff discusses how we're going to put the writing team on rotation (as we, or at least I, am thinking about 1-2 writers posting articles a week, which hopefully means you just have to put up one a month, basically, at minimum). If you're not, then no worries! You can still hang around, build up your knowledge, kick people's asses in duels, etc.
