How is that any better? At least the plant mirror match was skillful unlike the rabbit, wind-up, inzektor mirrors where it just comes down to whether or not you go first.

I mean, plants had a variety of options, and the player's skill influenced how good their choices for which option to go with would be. Even if they were really good, not just anyone could use them well.

With Rabbit, you summon him, use his eff for 2 sabersaurus/kabazuuls, xyz into Laggia first turn and you have control. There's no room to even be remotely creative. Same goes for inzektors, usually. Summon dragonfly, equip hornet, pop a card, bla bla bla bla bla end up with a +4.

They don't "always" leave ANY deck untouched if it needs to get hit, archetype or not. They will usually do something small or useless like limiting Gateway last year when Sams came out. Sams are a very relevant example actually. They just had come out in the tcg, but they got hit anyway.

When they were "hit" despite being brand new they were dominating the OCG format and the next set was already out. Not to mention the only card touched was a card that was very old and was previously a TCG exclusive. Your very relevant example is actually a good way to prove the naysayers wrong. Thanks Harper.

not to mention they were as decent a deck still. the real hit six sams too next format was when not only the next set, generation force was out, but photon shockwave was out in the ocg as well by that time
