| Post about past formats here. If the current format is stale, there's always the option of looking into the past and having fun. Down below you see my favorite format. It's the format right after Chaos Return , when Monarchs where the best deck. The format is all about card advantage, a +1 from a flipped Dekoichi can be enough to win. The games are long, meaning a bad opening hand still gives you the chance to make a comeback later on. All in all it reminds me of Chess. Sept 2006 Format
