| As all of you are aware the Inzektors are about to hit the TCG in a week. They're hyped, and rightfully so. There are several different ways to go about running them and in this thread I would like to get some discussion on what we think are the most consistent variants running around along with discussing popular tech choices.
Obviously there's the main 3 Inzektors of Centipede, Dragonfly and Hornet, which are ran at 3 copies a piece in all versions while occasionally running 1-2 Giga-Mantis in conjunction with 1 Giga-Weevil if only running 1 Mantis (personally I think Mantis is strictly the better card here). As for techs in pure Inzektor variants, the things I have seen are Dimensional Fissure (to stop Veiler/Maxx C/Dark World), Heart of Clear Water (to further the combos with Dragonfly), Doom Dozer (beatstick, IMO not very good), Rai-Oh (helpful against Dino Rabbit), Maxx C and Veiler if not running DFissure (obvious reasons are obvious), and Call of the Haunted (Bring back a dead Centipede/Dragonfly to combo again provided Hornet is still graved).

| Two manageable variants that I've seen so far are Inzektor Wind-Up and Agentzektors. The Wind-Ups allow you to destroy cards as well as hurt the hand for massive advantage, and the Agents can provide a defensive engine along with a boss monster, as well as the ability to use Insect Imitation to have an easier way of getting out Dragonfly. | |

| the wind up one is the most explosive, but many variants work...it's a simple little engine. right now i'm just trying chaos with 2 veiler 2 tkr and bls haha | |

| That's the beauty of Inzektors. You just run the 9 cards alongside something that can support it. | |

| Hadn't thought of Inzektagents before, but after a handful of matches with them they are pretty stupid too. | |

Meh, I wouldn't say that, but it is powerful nonetheless. With that in mind, they can be sided against like any other deck. They're all DARK, they're Level 3, and they hate being banished. Just have faith in your side deck, and you should be fine. I must say though...their card art is truly epic.

| Their art work is actually based off of the characters from Kamen Rider, which not only preceeds Power Rangers, but is much more epic.
Kamen...KICK!!! | |

| Sides against them: -Really Eternal Rest (destroy dragonfly without triggering hornet) -SIM (Self-explanatory) -Chain Disappearance (on dragonfly or either on a monster reborned hornet) -Trap Hole (same thing but can catch Centipede) -Possessed Dark Soul(thanks Kiryu, this tech is good) -Eradicating Aerosol (one-side Dark Hole)

| Possessed Dark Soul, isnt very good. Since it is spell speed 1 you can only use it on your turn, which there shouldn't really be an inzekt out on your turn unless you maxx c'd or veiler'd their centi/dragonfly | |

It can also work if you maxx a Tour Guide. They will probably bring out Sangan, next turn summon your own tour guide, bring PDS and proceed to make the opponent rage. Card will be good in this format, but nothing special. Inzektor plays usually end up in Zenmaines, Leviair or brilliant for BLS so PDS won't help that much. It's a main deck choice, I wouldn't even worry about siding it.

| Obviously Inzectors won't be touched until hopefully next ban list but when they do i sicerely hope that they limit/semi-limit dragonfly over hornet. It would just hurt them so much not running 3 dragonflies and bring them down to a reasonable level. Let me know what you think | |

| Hornet to 1 and Foolish banned would be enough imo. It's a dumb deck, but imo, all decks should remain playable to some extent. So they can still get off plays, but they only have 1 Hornet and the fastest way to dump it is gone. But who knows? | |

| I just cant wait until they come down to a reasonable level so people with other decks can play competitively. | |

| Looking back at the most recent YCS, Inzektors only reached top 16 I believe. So seemingly on a wide range in competitve play, they arent doing as good as perhaps on DN or as we imagined. Let wait and see how the upcoming format turns out to be and then in July or something start talking about how we would want a decktype or archetype to be nerfed.
For all we know Inzektors suck.

| i agree , though they aren't invincible since i once trishula'ed hornet and that's game most of the time , you just gotta side well but yeah should be limited or semi limited , and limiting hornet won't really help since they can reuse it from the grave even if it got removed they can summon leviair and get it back , although that will be kind of hard oh and im back | |

| I've been maining Inzektors for a while now, and honestly, they were overhyped. They were originally created for level modulation, but that system is weak and outclassed by other archetypes, so we just abuse Hornet. As a control-type duelist, I quite enjoy the deck. Dragonfly could be semi'd if the deck proves to be troublesome, but it's not doing that well so far. | |

| running inzektors on dn even i have noticed afew things, the engine hinge-pins around hornet for effects to pop off secondly, no matter how many grave seeking cards ie armageddon knight foolish or what have you, you know whats coming crows in side deck rape and d. fissure good too, as for keeping the leviair away, we all run bth and warnings so thats even more stall and dismissal to the engine. IMO inzektors are ok with a few above average builds but are severly lacking the huge damage hitter and even in the otk loop combo plays first crow or transmigration or whatever to get it out of the way just leaves opp in rage mode anyways... i dont see what the big deals was that made them seem so devastating anyways lol, Shadow- Improsoning Mirror Fiend Chains and the like are more than plenty to stop w/e inzekts wanna throw at you so... the problem is...? | |

| Totally agree, compared to Rabbit and Winderps they're a lot less powerful in that they cant quite as easily gain massive tempo and control over the game in the form of plusses because inzektors require already commited cards on your opponents field while the others are just turn 1 combos that are only really hindered by maxx/veiler | |
