Deck Master Format Rules

Like all decks in DM format this deck runs 60 individual different cards, some of which are bad in the standard advanced metagame and some of which are banned in it. The cohesive goal of this deck is to set up a summon of the deck master and use its effect to use the Graveyard as a sort of reverse toolbox to gain access to powerful monsters that end up dying over the course of the duel. Notable targets for The Creator's effect include Disk Commander, DMoC, already special summoned Envoys, and Endless Decay if the opponent is still at a relatively high LP level.

Suggestions and comments are always appreciated!

Kycoo might be good in this. He says omnomnom to Treeborn ,Disc Commander,Fishborg Blaster,etc. and prevents the broken Chaos monsters from being summoned.

I'll try him out in our next duel.Hopefully I don't scrub out like in the last duel.lol

Funny you mention that, because I had actually just edited it in to the main deck after our match (forgot to update this thread). I also want to find room for Burial From the Different Dimension, any thoughts?

Lol totally forgot about Substitoad.

I wanted to fit all 3 of the hand traps , but I just can't find room.

I also wanted to throw in Soul Release as a tech.

The problem in that format is that there's not much room for techs or synergistic cards.

I dont know what to drop. Maybe one of the Monarchs?

edit: One of the Monarchs because it seems that you could draw into too many high level monsters before you've set up your graveyard.

I only run 8 big monsters, 1 is gorz and the other is the DM, so essentially only 6. Idk if 10% of the main deck being big guys is really that huge of a problem but I can definitely see burial being a tad more helpful than Raiza, mostly because the deck is so dependent on having those frogs in grave, and bringing back a banished DMoC is always nice too. Dimension Fusion might also be another card I would want to add. Thoughts on that?

If I run 3 Big Guys in a 40 card deck, I can still draw into two of them ( happened a lot) , even though the big guys take up 7,5 % of the deck.

We have to playtest again and see which cards are droppable.
