Just curious; are decks that don't use the extra deck allowed? I'd hope not, or else stun-type builds with cards like fossil dyna are gonna take this haha

Thought so. Arg, now i need to deal with all the stun decks people will use. 3 smashing ground here i come

Okay, with that news, there are gonna be quite a few people who actually are going to switch to Stun decks built just to counter the Synchroing.

Thus, I have a pair of ideas to propose.

1. Simple fix: Have the participants send their decklists to a non-competitor for approval. While I now really want to make a deck with cards like Kristya, Jowgen and Vanity's Ruler, it wouldn't be fair if the people who end up doing well in this tourney are the ones who just try to game the system. With this, they would have to either run a Synchro build for sure or just make the stun reasonable, depending on what the regulations for this are.

2. A bit more extreme of an idea, and one that will likely require the same implement that I just listed above: Make the tourney Synchro Vs. Stun.

So, in essence, half of the competitors would run Synchro decks, and the other half Stun decks. Obviously, the former idea is simpler, but if you want to defeat the purpose of the tournament and yet still have a nice original idea for a tourney, this idea might be cool.

IMO, though, if nothing's done to fix the potential flaws that this tourney idea seems to stimulate accidentally, then, well, it won't be pretty.

I very much agree with NSGG.

Decks for a "synchro" tournament should revolve around synchros, IMO. Even if they have some stun elements

Darn my plans have been foiled!

Right, stun decks will not be allowed, so we will send the deck lists to TheRuler, and he will post every member who's deck has been accepted.

Deck accepting standard: It is based on synchro summons and is not a stun decks + it follows the tournament rules.

When TheRuler confirms the decks of all participants, we will start round 1, so hurry up guys!

Since its been stated that the only thing keeping this from starting is confirmation of participants decklists, has this already reached its limit for participants?

The limit of participants was reached, if any of the participants will be not active in round 1, Amaretsu will be added.

If quaser is banned, it means it is banned from the whole match... so you cannot add him from side to extra... same goes for OCG and Tengu.
