| Okay, so here's the suggestion, we create a set of 80 cards that we feel would make for a fun format. The set will contain:
1 Secret Rare 5 Ultra Rares 10 Super Rares 16 Rares 48 Commons
Players each randomly select 6 packs from a list of numbers, each of which will correspond to a particular pack in a particular box generated by the tournament organizer. There will be 8 total participants per 2 boxes "opened". Each participant will select 8 random numbers from 1-64 (assuming 8 players) which corresponds to a potential pack out of the given 2 boxes. Once all the packs have been "opened" and their contents private messaged to the participants via the Tournament Organizer they are to construct 40 card decks out of the 40 cards they pulled.
In order to keep things simple, I suggest that Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, and XYZ Monsters are not part of this set, since they will result in players being unable to construct a legal 40 card deck out of their drafted 8 packs.
Each Box will contain: 1 Secret Rares 5 Ultra Rares 10 Super Rares 16 Rares 128 Commons (32 different common cards will be "printed" twice in the set)
4 common cards per pack with 1 card of a varying higher rarity.
Who's in for Yugioh Sealed Pack play?

| Hnnnnggggggh. This looks really fun. And I'm assuming we would need to PM decklists to make sure we're only using the cards we pulled? | |

| Yes, of course. Since the Tournament Organizer will know exactly what cards you pulled, they can make sure your deck doesn't contain cards you did not pull. There is NO TRADING OF CARDS "PULLED". What you get is what you get, that's the fun of it | |

| I'd want to participate in this, so I suggest one of the mods recently given the status of Tournament Organizer at the very least be the ones who set up the match pairings and look over deck lists. I understand that the construction of the "packs" will be a pain in the butt since they have to do it almost 200 times, but I don't think anyone is expecting this to start up tomorrow.
But the best part about this I think is that even after the initial tournament you could always just change the numbers randomly assigned to packs and hold another one with the same card pool and constructed packs.

| Overhauled the box to more closely resemble that of an OCG box and crunched the numbers so it works out that one box builds a deck for 4 different people. Also adjusted the cards within the set to accommodate the new changes to the proportions of the set itself. These changes will make the tournament far easier for the moderators to actually get running since they will only need to create 32 different packs, and just simply re-organize the numbers of the packs over and over again to accommodate an increase in tournament participants. Let's get this started | |

You can use Magic Set Editor to construct the packs. Download it and the ygo module, type the names of the cards, set the rarities and you can then create any number of packs.
