could infernity guardian be destroyed by battle if it is face down and is attacked with a monster that could destroy it

I would say no. As he would be flipped face up and his effect would kick in so long as his conditions are met.

Now if hes destroyed while facedown by say scrap dragon, then yes he would be destroyed

yea he flips up and the continuous effect applies, as long as the owner doesn't have any cards in his hand haha
