Card of the Week #35 Empty
PostSubject: Card of the Week #35   Card of the Week #35 EmptyMon Jun 25, 2012 1:08 pm

Each week we will nominate a card to become Card of The Week!

- I will give you a theme every week, and you will nominate the card you think is most appropriate for said theme.
- You must explain why you nominated your card choice.
- A poll will be opened on Friday with all of the eligible nominations, and will be open until Sunday night.
- When the poll is open, you are allowed to vote for your own nomination.

Card of the Week will open every Monday evening.

Prizes: 100 DGA points + 20 EXP to the card winner

Your theme for this week will be:

What is your favourite card that boosts the ATK/DEF of other monsters?

Simple enough. What's your favourite buff card?

Honest. Watts' best friend (screw Lightsworns and all Razz), and he's limited for a reason.

Forbidden chalice: That damage step potential screws over alot of potential responses your opp may try to use. All decks can use this card for its buffing to negate and get over monsters Very Happy

Forbidden Lance: can be used in dmg step, quickplay spell so can be used from hand on your turn...steals 800 atk points from your opponents monster or makes one of your monsters unaffected by other s/ts...best side card vs T.G. apart from TKR...just a boss card

Lance doesn't count, because it doesn't raise ATK/DEF, per se.

right... Horn of the phantom beast: increase the atk of a beast/beast-warrior monster by 800 atk and draw 1 card each time it destroys a monster and sends it to the grave... one of the best cards for beast and t.g. ...

Although i hate the deck, inzector hornet. they gain 500 while equiped which makes centipede and hopper pretty beefy. Plus it pops cards.

Solidarity works pretty well for my main deck and other decks that use the same type of monsters.

Sorry the poll is late, guys. I'll still have it open for 2 days, and #36 will open tomorrow as usual.

Voting may begin.
