Warm-up tournament

Subject: Warm-up tournament Tue Jun 12, 2012 8:33 am

It has been long since we had a tournament. Let's take this one as a warm-up for upcoming events.

REQUIREMENTs:

-Have a rank (a dorm or staff)
-Have an intro
-Know how to use DN
-Have posted at least twice

RULES:

-Follow the current ban list.
-We will only use TCG legal cards, up to the Battle Pack.
-The duels will be a Match.
-The duelist needs to find his opponent by himself and duel him before each round's deadline.
-Duels must be posted here as a reply and CONFIRMED from the opponent.
-The opponent who misses his/her match will be considered as LOST.
-You must use the same deck through out the whole tournament.
-Inactive players will be removed from the tournament and banned from future events.
-The tournament will be a simple knock-out tournament.

DECK RULES:

Banned: burn, mill, instant win and OCG.

Prizes:

1st place: 300 DGA points and 75 exp
2nd place: 200 DGA points and 50 exp
3rd place: 100 DGA points and 25 exp

Communication: DGA pm or DN pm.

honestly though, burn/mill/instant win should NOT be banned. I understand they aren't considered fun to play against but in a realistic tournament setting (and in DN rated matches) they're allowed so we should have to deal with them here too.

Banned decks are banned because they are not fun to play against and this is a "warm-up" tournament, not a YCS...

Funch and Pumpkin post BOTH why you guys did not duel or else you will get into the blacklist and will be banned from future DGA events.

We were never on at the same time and I am currently still at school finishing of my exams so have been restricted for when I could go on DN.

Did you even try to PM your opponent by writing the times that you would be able to make it?

Yes I pmed him stateing that I cudnt duel during the times he stated during week so it would be best to duel at weekend but he wasn't on during hte same time as me.
