This deck started out as a chaos plants deck but i tweaked it majorly. Plants are still the main engine but the rest has changed drastically. Why? It just works better. Especially with steelswarm roach in my extra. Its a bit unconventional but sometimes thats what this game needs in my humble oppinion. Try it out and let me know what you think

When running rescue rabbit, never run less than 3 copies of rabbit and his normal monster targets. If you draw 1 of the normal mons you can not get the other one with rabbit unless there is another one with the same name in the deck.

Ya ive heard that before. I think I just took him out because it kinda slowed the deck down a little. I added a spore a dandy and a bus. I need 2 more cards though as I still have the darkflare soldiers to make it 40 and they just dont work at all lol

This deck looks freaking terrible. You run so many suboptimal choices , I don't even know where to start.

Why in the hell would you run Rabbit and some shitty Vanillas in a Plant Deck?
You're sacrificing consistency to play what? Steelswarm Roach?
Roach is mediocre at best , because he can be easily run over and can't stop Xyzs.

Tytannial shouldn't be run in Plants anymore because Dandy and Lonefire are at one.
What if you draw into Tytannial or Gigaplant? They're horrible dead draws...

Your spell line up is bad too. No MST, no Dark Hole, no Foolish Burial , no Book of Moon, no Pot of Avarice , the list goes on.

Also, the traps are supposed to be a joke , right?

Lol I appriceate it. But if I draw a tytannial I will just special summon it next turn with gigaplant. I will work on it though. I knoa its not perfect thats why I posted it here. But its also not completly inconsistant either.

His point (which is completely right btw), is how are you planning on summoning Gigaplant in the first place? Summon something, hope it doesn't die, tribute it to normal summon Gigaplant, hope it doesn't die that turn, and then normal summon it again so you can plus? That's very, very slow. Lonefire? It's at 1, and while you're waiting to draw it you'll be drawing Gigaplants and Tyrannials all over the place, not to mention normal monsters which have no synergy here

Ya you have a point. I took the rabbit and normal monsters out. But I get what your saying. I will change it. But I dont want a normal chaos deck. Any suggestions? My original idea was chaos burning plants(hence the fire normal monsters) but it didnt work so I took them out.

If you seriously want to keep Gigaplant and Tytannial as the core of your deck, then build a Gigavise deck, because this now is just silly.

Also, idk if Gigavise is still viable because Lonefire is at 1 , Colossal Armory Combo doesn't work anymore and I think there's too much stuff that can stop the combos...

Mostly to be more original. And I just dont like how people find a deck that works online and just copy it to the letter or make very small changes to it. There are over 2,000 different cards but people cant see past the few that they think are good. Gigavise is okay still. Lonefire getting limited was inevitable but gigaplant is still a lv 6 I believe so hes not impossible to get out.

Its possible to be original, but if your running a Meta deck which is tried and true to be effective. There is no point in watering down a deck that is already at its apex in explosive plays to appease you crazy hybrid idea....To an extent.

Thats not to say you cant build a deck that takes advantage of your playstyle. You wanna build a plant deck, then focus on that aspect and make a deck that appeases your playstyle and can be competitive, thats where your originality will shine.

Just like all decks that get hit by the list, if it gets weaker than find techs that can compensate for its loss. look at Sams, they lost smoke signal, now Ascentism is a damn near staple. Its all about you doing the hard work and seeing how you can make a deck YOU created effective

The terms " playing meta " and "meta deck " are messed up because technically every deck is part of the meta , not just top tier decks.

Anyways, it's cool if an advanced player takes a Tier 2 strategy like Ninja or Samurai ,tries to make it viable and catches people off-guard.
But that's because you're advanced. You know the biggest threats in the metagame , you know how to build a deck ,you know which cards are good or bad.

Newbies and "originalists" don't know shit. He avoids the most popular strategies from the start and tries to build his own deck while he doesn't even know how a good deck is constructed.
It's a given that he will fail.

I never said that being original is bad. Being original for idiotic reasons is bad.

I don't get why someone would put in vanilla fire monsters in a Plant Deck , just to call it fire plant so that the deck is different from the others.

Haha ive built many good decks for your information. This one just didnt go so well. I look at it as a way to learn. But just saying it is idiotic is a mistake on your part. Its not like I made a deck ou of 40 man eater bugs or something like that. And I took out the rabbit and fire monsters before anyone suggested they were slowing it down. When I posted this deck it was 4 and 0 so it was doing well for the first few games. I know its not the best deck or mabey even ideal but im willing to work on it which is why I was being a good sport about the comments. It's just that most new players try to build their own deck before they even touched the top tier strategies. You have to have a basic understanding about how the game works in order to create something original, yet powerful.
And you won't have that basic understanding if you don't know how the most popular decks in the format work, how they are constructed , they're strenghts and weaknesses,etc.

man i gotta say i tried it out on dn and this deck was pretty solid for me i pilotted it for 5 games and pulled 4-1 with it, and the only reason it wasnt 5-0 is because i misplayed on it in the first game but afterwards, like the barbers here in afghanistan say after razor blading all your hair away...

Beating DN scrubs isn't much of an accomplishment tbh though. I've won many matches with a shitty mazera deville deck, it doesn't mean mazera deville is actually viable though.
