i forgot my password to my other account and i am too lazy to recover it. but but while yall are doing something new as a staff, why not add MORE staff like was suggested earlier in the post where the quote came from? i mean either there has been too much flooding in the duel arena for me to notice any post about new staff as far as admins go, or there just havent been any new admins joining on. either way that seems to be the main problem with the stuff that happens in the background. whether it was that there were never enough testers with enough free time, not enough to update the duel arena and award points, or any number of other things that would require an admin to take care of. and the way i saw it with the new changes is that current members should have been grandfathered in with a few exceptions, or people who were so active should have been grandfathered in and should have been able to keep their dorm ranks. that being said, there just wouldnt be no strings attached. if there was a test, then take the ruling test for the dorm, if failed then start at the beginning. after all, even a new country would have their finest warriors recognized if they still had the skill for where they were at. such as honorary members who do deserve to be in the dorm that they were in to begin with.

well thats enough ranting from me. hopefully this will get across that more admins seem to be needed, i KNOW what im talking about so thus my first statement proving true, and what i thought should have happened would have happened. whether anything will be done after this point would be up to the admins.

so admins. will anything be done? even if its the recruiting of 1 new admin that has more free time than any of the current admins?

well that is good to hear at least. but another question. why didnt yall do something about allowing current/active member keeping their rank/dorm? i mean it easy enough to telll who here is active who isnt, or who deserves to keep their rank as opposed to those who dont. that being said i understand the concept of starting everyone at the bottom, but that in itself would create a problem. like i said before i couldnt tell if there were any new admins because of the flooding in the duel arena. well with so much people getting to the higher dorms, there would be a good chance that half of the people would make it to the next dorm, thus you would have to hand out the test to those people, all roughly around the same time. now then this may not be as aggravating as testing new members, but there is still a problem. either you will be flooded with tests to grade, of which after enough people take the test can ask for answers under the table in some shape or fashion forcing you to make new answers all the time. or not very many people will make it into the top dorm, making it to where dorm leader is a leader for 1 or 2 people. alot like how vesta dorm should be but where everyone is in charge of everyone in the dorm. i say all that with experience in a 4 year program in high school where you got promoted in a similar way as to how it is done here. by the third year 75% of the original people dropped, which is in no way a good number, and by the 4th year, your position didnt matter most of the time to those in the same year because...well everyone was pretty much equal at that point.

once again i ramble so i will summarize.

why not grandfather people in? there is a problem with the new system whether it would be too many people reaching the next dorm at the same time, or nto very many people reaching the top dorm at all, where those people should be in top dorm

But to test the members to the higher dorms don't really take any time from us admins, we just send them stuff and they answer us, it's as simple as that.


And if we had given a chance to get their ranks back when this thing started, it would've ruined the idea of the whole thing

well it wouldnt have even had to be their rank that they gopt back. it could have been something like demote everyone by two dorms. peoplein stardust would be the only people in the first dorm allowing for faster experience gaing in the duel arena. now then sure the duel arena would still be getting flooded, but at least if this were the case then it would allow for some variety so that if people want to try and get experience faster then they would have the choice right off the bat to go against someone in a dorm higher than them.

basically what im getting at is that the new system should have had a bit more polishing done to it to allow things to go more smoothly. cause honestly from my view point, things seemed to have gotten more or less dead with posts other than the duel arena. but that may just be me since all i look at is the side panel. but i will say that im see less "??? vs ???" posts than when the system was started, but i find things a bit dead i guess. but i am just expressing my opinion on the matter

ofc, everyone has an opportunity for their opinions, and it's nice to hear them. But this is just like starting an academy all over again, as you might see, we have some ppl already in the zone where they get the Archfiend tests, so it shouldn't take too long before the dorms have been seperated again

Ruler answered pretty well. We are reorganizing and discussing adding new staff already, which I mentioned in the exact same post you quoted. He is also right that it would defeat the point of changing the system is some people "kept their rank". First of all, it's not "their rank" anymore. You don't get it the same way. There are some people who were Stardust that will likely fail the first time they take the Conjurer Test. It used to be anyone can be violet, anyone with decent skills will be red, and advanced would be stardust. Now, it's an accomplishment to get what used to be violet, and a HUGE accomplishment to get to what used to be red. More than that, it would be unfair to new and less active members ofer picked our "favorite" members and let them skip to the test. But let's say we did; then they fail. Now what? Let them take it again? Make them work their way up like everyone else? If they pass...what then? Let them take the test without paying DGA points for it while others do? There may not be a formal test for Archers, but it's also a test in and of itself to get 100 exp, and then 150 more after that to be able to take the Conjurer Test. First you prove yourself with activity and ueling skills. Then you prove your knowledge. And only then can you take a test encompassing both. Every level builds on one another. It's not the same rank anymore, I want to emphasize that. Stardust=\=Warrior. Ranks are now much harder to attain because this will improve our members better as well as giving them a use for exp and DGA points. It's like Ruler said, the academy basically started over. You can't keep something that was never your's. Yes it is a little annoying to lose all your previous exp and DGA points and rank sucked away so you have to build it up. But it gives them a new goal, and let's not forget, us staff lost the most. I had 20000 or something points, and Vongola and scorpion had the same or slighlty less and were lv5. But it's better this way, so I don't care. And using see why you do, honestly.

Although I caught up with everything to this point, I wanted to point out your error. It's 100, then 250. The bar resets to 0 on every level.

0/100 -> 100/100 -> 0/250 -> 250/250

*sigh* why can't people just chill and wait, for stuff, it takes a lot to revamp an ENTIRE academy. When the site was unavailable while we worked, you guys complained, so it's no avaible, then u complain how we not doing anything. D: yes we get it we will get more staff, but just cause u point it out every 2-3 posts don't mean that it is going to be you. Besides we just finished the main remodeling about a week or 2 ago I think, not that long(cuz yes, believe it or not, we have-dare I say it-real lives). So chill out.

PS. If u tired of just seeing arena duel posts, try making posts about other things, seems the other members don't ask questions, post thoughts or anything, just arena. I'll start posting articles again to change that but everyone is entitled to their part.
