| So, my question is...will gladiator beasts be sent to the graveyard by this card of will the tag effect resolve 1st?...my take on it is that since both are your cards, you can have the order be according to what goes first...so infected mail would be chain link 1 then tag effect chain link 2, so the gladiator beast would not be sent to the grave...am I correct??...just want to make sure. | |

| 1) They don't form into chain.
2) You choose which effect should be applied.

| Not entirely sure, but I think the GB returns to deck first and is not touched by this cards eff. Turn player should set the chain links, but chain 1 mail, chain 2 gb, gb returns to deck first... chain 1 gb, chain 2 mail, gb returns to deck on activation as a cost, so both possibilities tell us that gb returns to deck before it is touched by mail. | |

| i would think, and have to say, that since infected mail is a mandatory effect it must resolve before any optional effects can be activated such as GB's optional effect to tag out. so they would be separate chains at the end of the battle phase where infected mail would be the first to go off destroying your monster | |

| kill mail is a mandatory effect so by definition it's chain link 1 then the monster eff will be chain link 2 ==> they resolve backwards, so u tag out and ur monster doesn't get destroyed. | |

| You can tag out. That's why it's a good card | |

| Why people keep saying about chain and mandaroty? Does GB chain to another GB? No. Same thing here. And Mandatory has nothing to do outside a chain. | |

That's true. Both effects, Infected Mail's and GB's, take place during the End Step of the Battle Phase. You choose wich eff you wish to activate first during that step, there's no chaining, SEGOC or w/e involved.
