Big Man Wins Big Game Empty
PostSubject: Big Man Wins Big Game   Big Man Wins Big Game EmptySun Nov 27, 2011 12:42 am

Hello DGA members, America's Son here, dropping in some info on the latest from the world of yugioh (granted its a few days or so old)... I was scoping the konami website seeing the latest from the ycs just trying to get a feel for the meta taking ycs, When no shit there I was scrolling down the page and one of my best friends from Virginia is standing there with the trophy in his hand. "Courtney Waller won YCS Kansas...." <--- Gradyent: * Dies but then comes back alive with a lil hate in my blood but overall mad props!* Yea you know its one thing to see a guy win ycs, but its another when you know the guy who not even three years ago had a lil trouble beating me outside of weekends at our locals take ycs. <--- Hate-r-ade, but I got mad props for him for doing it big up there and putting VA on the map for a lil while, hah. and also I dont netdeck at all, but i will admit i try to analyze every card choice in a deck and try to see why things are used in order to help my own skill get better... But for the first time ever i wanna netdeck his deck so bad lol, i wont though, ill just go home in a few weeks and kick his ass like like ol times lol...

Sorry i took so long to get back to all you guys on this topic, i had the chance to chill with my homie and ask a few things so here goes...

@ Scorpion67 -
Q: "Why summon the crow against plants?"
A: "He didn't, in fact in the whole article thats the only mention of "crow" lol i looked it up"
R: "The article said he banished crow with alchemist's effect"

@ BLiTz -
Q: "Could you share some conclusions of what you found out?"
A: " Ever since I've known Courtney and had the "honor/pleasure/pain" of dueling against him, one thing I know is he is a really greedy player, in fact that's where i get it from... A lot of the choices that he made in putting it together reflect not only that greed, but also a meticulous attention to consistency that is only rivaled by his sharp wits and his ability to out think most opponents. For example in this game he dark hole'd for two reasons 1 Gorz and token, but also to reload his hand and deck and keep his opponent away from using his soldier against him. Greed, Wits, Skill and of course a little bit of Luck."
R: "My hater-ation has subsided and i can give my boy the full props he deserves, but also cause his my homie"
