The amount of players on each team must be the same.

Matchups can be decided manually or randomly.
The paired players must duel each other and nobody else.
The number of members on the line ups is usually an odd number in order to avoid a tie. However an even numbered line-up can also be used and in the event of a tie both teams select a player from their main line up to duel in a tie-breaker match.
