Here are the rules:

The only cards we will accept on this competition will have to be created with http://www.yugiohcardmaker.net/
- You can't take a card from google and post it here, the name of the cards creator needs to be the same name as your DGA account
- Try to balance your card. Make it good, but not broken
-A poll will be opened after the first few days.
-Everyone who entered a card MUST vote in the poll and CAN vote for themselves
-Competetition will be started on Mondays (usually)

Your theme for this week will be:

Make a Monster Card that counters meta decks and can be used in a competitive deck that you will mention. Don't make the card broken, keep it balanced.

Demon Tiger Gangan
Level 4 DARK Beast-Type Effect Monster
ATK: 1900 | DEF: 500
When a monster(s) is Special Summoned: Send those monsters to the Graveyard, then banish the top card of your Deck. This card must be face-up on the field to activate and to resolve this effect. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this effect was used this turn: Target 1 other card you control; change this card's Battle Position, and destroy that target, but this card's Battle Position cannot be changed until the end of your next turn, except with a card effect.


PSCT and phrasings taken from King Tiger Wanghu, Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress, Butterflyoke, and Wind-Up Zenmaines. Name is a joke on the Beyblade fight between Wang Hu Zhong and Gan Gan Galaxy. King Tiger Wanghu vs. Demon Tiger Gangan. Effect is not quite as severe as simply preventing Special Summons, as Book of Moon etc. can be chained to this card's effect to protect the Special Summoned monster. Furthermore, there is a huge drawback in the End Phase to counteract the "broken" nature of its first effect. This card would work well in a Chaos deck that runs things such as Dimensional Alchemist, as they usually don't mind losing the top card of their Deck. This card counters meta decks in obvious ways:

• Dino Rabbit's Dinos and Xyz all get sent (unless they Normal Summon two Dinos and make Dolkka).
  
• Inzektors must pop this card before they can successfully Summon Centipede or Xyz or use Call or Reborn or anything.
  
• Wind-Ups just get wrecked by this card. They can't really get over this, so their only options are to get rid of it first or tech Gorz like a boss.
  
• Chaos Dragons lose whatever they Special Summon (which is most things) and the banishing of the top card makes Lightpulsar miss the timing.
  
• HEROes lose all their Bubblemen, Thrashers, Xyz, and any HERO they fuse. Shining misses timing. Alius and Spark and Hero Blast allow them to get over it easily though.
  
• Hieratics get wrecked in the same way they get wrecked when they are faced with a Pachycephalo: they can't get over it.
  
• Machina Gadgets lose every single Xyz they have, as well as Machina Fortress.
  
• Lancer Frogs lose every single way they have to get a monster out to Tribute, effectively ruining them.
  
• Final Countdown doesn't lose anything really. They could even run/side it to stall Hieratics and Wind-Ups.

This card can initially lockdown the opponent, but every deck has ways around it. The only deck this doesn't shut down heavily is Inzektors.

When this card is special summon select 1 spell card in your deck and add it to your hand, increase the ATK points of this card by 300 points for every spell card in your graveyard.

Effect: This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. While this card is face-up on the field, you can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to negate the activation of an Effect Monster's effect, and destroy that Effect Monster. When this card destroys a monster by battle draw 1 card. This card cannot be Special Summoned.

For a single tribute you get a card that, provided you have enough cards in hand, can severely cripple just about every deck with the exception of Chaos Dragons being able to swing over it with REDMD or BLS. Granted Gem-Knight Pearl can barely get over him this card would surely dominate the board when it's dropped forcing your opponent to deal with it immediately because every single top tier deck focuses on achieving a game win almost strictly through monster effects. Tribute Normal Summons are something that are so rarely worth the investment in Yu-Gi-Oh! and I think this card is not only worth it but a competitive level card as well. The deck I primarily see this being used in is some sort of Frog Monarch deck since they reliably get out free tribute fodder, but it could also very easily work its way into a Chaos deck seeing as it is Dark, but also because when it's in your graveyard you can't really make use of it, and the discard can allow you to put a Light monster in their for your chaos monster summon.

When this card is summon select 1 face-up Attack Position monster. That monster cannot be targeted or be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. By discarding 1 spell card you can negate the activation of a spell/trap or effect monsters effect and destroy it.

For a cost of 2 tribute this can provided safety for your card that you have on the field to be safe and protected. Also that this can get your opponent monsters to be in a lock for a certain amount of time. The only cards that can get by pass her will be REDMD,BLS,DARK HOLE,MIRROR FORCE,SOLEMN,BOTTOMLESS,FIENDISHCHAIN. Now people are using inzektors verz rabbits wind-ups etc this card can negate centi's eff hunters eff and mostly power cards eff. This card i will recommend in a deck that you want to swarm fast but yet get you the oppertunity to get you main card out on the field. Yes this card may be lil WOW but by discarding 1 spell card is good unless its an exodia deck then XD. Plus this card will make your opponents think of a plane B and it can stop loops and stop your opponent from getting the upper advantage.
