Coverage is good...but, my god.

https://tcg.konami-europe.net/coverage/6899/round-5-wytze-kluitenberg-gravekeeper-vs-nicolas-patteau-dino-rabbit/

Only way keeper's can win rabbit...cheating + being up against a dumb guy.

Find at least 6 derps and I'll give you a cookie.

YCS Leipzig Knapp01

1. Round 5-[GK vs Dino Rabbit]During the dustshoot play, the guy asked the judge if he could chain a quick-play spell so as to negate dustshoot. ._.
2. Round 5-Summoned Zenmaines through Recruiter and Descendant.
3. Round 8-[Inzektors vs DW] in 2nd duel the guy had a face-up hornet, the opp discarded broww, summoned another broww and bounced for Grapha, then attacked directly. e_e

Ok I got 3 gimme half cookie. .-.

Just gonna quote some things from the GK/DR match that I found interesting or funny.

Quote :
He Normal Summoned Rescue Rabbit and Tributed it to Special Summon 2 copies of Sabersaurus from his Deck.

Wrong word bro. Big difference.

Quote :
Kluitenberg had to think about his response and he opted to activate Bottomless Trap Hole. Platteau considered this for a bit before he chained Evolzar Laggia‘s effect to the trap. That’s exactly what Kluitenberg was hoping for, however, as he was now free to chain Torrential Tribute and wipe the field! With no further actions, Platteau passed his turn.

loooool

Quote :
During Platteau’s following Standby Phase, Kluitenberg activated Trap Dustshoot. Platteau asked a judge if he could chain a Quick-Play Spell to basically negate the trap, but the judge told him that wasn’t possible. Platteau used his right to appeal just to make sure. The head judge upheld the table judge’s ruling and that meant Platteau lost Gorz the Emissary of Darkness to the Trap. He didn’t perform any actions after that.

Hay gaiz, MST negates stuf rite???

Quote :
Gravekeeper's Spy was Flip Summoned, however, Platteau chained Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror to its effect. Kluitenberg wasn’t happy, but asked if he could activate Pot of Duality. The judge ruled that it was possible to activate Pot of Duality, but again Platteau used his right to appeal. This time the head judge ruled in his favor, not allowing Kluitenberg to activate the Spell Card. Kluitenberg instead Set a monster and passed.

How about those DN quality judges?

Quote :
Gravekeeper's Recruiter and Flip Summoned Gravekeeper's Descendant. Both monsters were then used to Xyz Wind-Up Zenmaines. Without performing any further actions, Kluitenberg ended his turn.

Ahem, gimme a minute here, please, I just gotta- LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Quote :
Both Kabazauls bit the dust during the End Phase thanks to Gozen Match.

Yeah, that's totally why they were destroyed. Mmhmm, yep, okay, perfect sense.

I wonder who's gonna win this YCS. Should be lulzy.

The head judge was right for the record. The activation of Spy's eff wasn't negated, so the game recognizes that you tried to special summon. If he had Warned Spy, he could use Duality.

I'm aware the head judge was right. I was poking fun at the judge that got the ruling wrong. Because the activation of Spy's effect wasn't negated, and only the effect itself was, it's an attempt.

Head judges are cool. It's regular judges that concern me. I give props to the players for appealing when possible.

All Dino Rabbit, Wind-Ups, or Inzektors, and almost all of the builds for said decks are exactly the same save 2-3 cards. Why am I not surprised? I'm kinda glad now that I'm retired...

Edited the OP with Top 16 Decklists for your convenient viewing pleasure.

Also, I was looking at some of the Feature Matches last night, and they were horribly written. It looked like the guy doing it was in a rush or something to get out of there or something. Also, misplays galore.

Don't be silly, Funch, it's nothing like that nowadays. RPS takes too much skill, so it's become a Dice Roll format. =D

^ This. I've seen a Rock-paper-Scissors championship on Espn2 before, but never a Dice Rolling championship.

I'm not joking about that, by the way. 'Tis real. Laughing

Only two Wind-Ups. I'm quite surprised at that. Although Dino Rabbit & Inzektor just boss rush the YCS so hard it's amazing.
