Dark Magic Attack!

Name has nothing to do with with the actually deck besides to lure you into looking & note that it's about spellcasters. So the concept is to make a stable & viable, hopefully tier two at best, spellcaster deck featuring Endymion, The Master Magician ( http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Endymion,_the_Master_Magician ). I figured a good way to make it would Chaos like deck, which in itself is vague to say the least. A control deck is more to the liking but i'm having trouble assembling the pieces. After the great help i got for my Blackwings i figured i'd return for some more help.

So this is a quick revamp of the deck per help of Sir Funch, +rep for him, although i can't come to terms with dropping Endymion considering he was the foundation of the deck being assembled.

You should do away with the apprentice engine. too slow. Here is a means to bring out the Spellcaster syncro boss (Arcanite magician)

- 3x apprentice magician
- 1 old vindictive magician

+2 night's end sorcer (lv 2 tuner. has banishing effect. staple combo with exemplar
+ instant fusion ( Musician king (lv 5 caster, instant aracnite with lv 2 tuners )
+ Oracle of the sun (caster cyber dragon, doesn't waste normal summon)


I would also say you should find room for a single copy of magical dimension as it allows you a secondary way to bring out Endy. I would say maybe swap 1 duality and 1 wand for 1 allure of darkness and the dimension. But that's up to you.

If you control a face-up Spellcaster-Type monster: Target 1 monster you control; Tribute it, then Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand, then you can destroy 1 monster on the field.

These adjustments seem to make the deck a bit faster & i removed one Breaker to bring the overall back down to 40 cards.

The deck you are talking about is called " Endymion Turbo ".

It consists of 3 Endymion and a low monster count + very high amount of spells + no traps

It is designed to abuse Endymion.

The goal is to get out Citadel ASAP and collect a SHIT TON of spell counters.
Then swarm with Endymion, blow stuff up, attack and revive him for a +2 when he gets destroyed.
You will revive him at least 2 or 3 times per game because you play up to 30 spells.
Rinse and repeat until your opponent is dead.

It reminds me of DDT and DaD Control before Synchros came out.
idk if it's still playable , because you need a good draw engine to pull that off or play shitty cards like Armageddon Knight.


But in all honesty: I play Casters for a long time and I just can't see how they could compete with Wind-Ups ,Inzektors,etc. unless new support comes out.

The deck isn't meant to abuse Endymion. It's simply featuring him, which i stated at the beginning. Thanks for the history lesson though.

I'd like to see the Endymion Turbo personally, sounds cool.

There are a lot more spell counter producing cards. And bound wand which is in the upcoming set makes for even more counter production and combos with hidden armory. its something that can be built but its a few formats too late, unless it becomes a slower paced game with the list, highly doubtful tho

one is not sure were to start have a few ideas for you, (that I do)

however I would not know what to take out for them or even if they would work in your current build "as I am more or less a dark magician/girl kinda of a person with regards to spellcaster deck making"
