| It was a Wednesday, but that's not important. Greetings, DGA! My name is Aaron, but you may call me Bronnco or Bob (because Bob is the ultimate generic name). I joined a few days ago, but was too lazy to make an introduction topic until now out of boredom. I started getting more into Yu-Gi-Oh! about 3 or so years after it came to America. Somewhere around that time, I got the Spellcaster's Judgment Structure Deck and just fell in love with Spellcasters. At the time, my deck was decent against my friends, but it ran into the problem of having too many high-level monsters to spawn bad draws (at the time, I didn't really care because I wasn't very competitive). A little bit down the line, I discovered the Dark World archetype and had a lot of fun with the constant drawing, discarding, summoning, and overall destruction. I stopped playing IRL because, back in High School, my friends and I would get into unnecessary arguments about card rulings (we didn't really know about them for a while). Eventually, they dropped Yu-Gi-Oh! and moved on to Magic: The Gathering. I eventually started becoming more active in an online community where I met a lot of cool people, some of which played Yu-Gi-Oh!. They introduced me to YVD and such, which later led up to DN. After facing a Dragunity deck with my old-school Spellcasters, I realized that I needed to become more adjusted to all the new stuff. Messing with random decks in WC2011 got me used to Synchros and sparked my interest in Fabled monsters. So far, that deck is the only deck I have that possesses a legitimate Side Deck. After that, I wanted to go back to Spellcasters since they've always been my #1 Type (with Fiends coming in at #2). I tried Gravekeepers but got bored, so I played around with mono-type/mono-attribute Spellcaster decks that centered around one of the Charmers + Supports. Right now, I'm trying out a Spell Counter deck that is proving to be quite fun so far. (Note: I never look at decks made by other people; all I use are my judgment as well as some input from friends) Sooo yeah! That's about it. Hopefully, I can have fun on this site and meet more people to duel and learn from. ^_^ | |
