| Welcome to Scorp's New Topic "What will Pros Do". This is a Topic I will start to show you guyz the difference between Pros and Average Players. Sometimes 2 players will have the same cards and will do 2 different moves in the same situation. I will give you some situations and show what an Average player will do and what a Pro would do. Hope you will like this Topic because I'm sure it will help a lot of players to take better decisions during a Duel. I will make this as pro as possible. If this segment gains popularity I will post it in different academies ( always promothing DGA Offcourse )and I will try to post 2 segments per month but dont blame me if I dont cuz I have a lot of other things to upload like "Techs of the Week" and "Deck Profiles". Enjoy ! Situation #1 : It is your turn !- Your Opponent have a Face Up Royal Oppression - You Have Chaos Sorcerer in Hand and Mystical Space Typhoon What will Average Players do : They will Use MST on the Face Up Oppression and then special Sumon Chaos Sorcerer What Will Pros Do : They Will Special Sumon Chaos Sorcerer to make their opponent pay 800 LP's and then they will chain MST This looks like a simple move but that 800 Extra LP's you deal to the opponent can make a big difference in a duel. If your opponent had 3000 LP's that extra damage will allow you to go for game in the same turn. But thats not All, there is more this move can do for you. We will see it in the Sitation number 2. Situation #2 : Its your opponent's turnLife Points : 5000/5000You have Elemental Hero Neos Alius and Royal Oppression Face Up. Your 2 Facedowns are Warning and Dimensional Prison. Your opponent have a Face Up Defense Debris Dragon and a Card Trooper. He synchro fro Black Rose Dragon. What Will Average Players do : They Will use Royal Oppresion on Black Rose dragon and They will probably get fucked by MST ( NOTE that when MST is chained to Royal Oppression, You lost the opportunity to activate Solemn Warning ). In that Situation you lost all your advantage on you will probably wont come back from that cuz you lost some key cards. What will Pros Do : They will 1st see if both mst's are in the grave to see if they can risk to use Oppression. If both MST's are not there they will use their Warning. That will make them lose a Backrow and more life points than oppression BUT your sure that Blackrose effect will never resolve and you will keep the control of the game ! Offcourse if your opponent had a card set in this situation, you have to consider the DUST TORNADO but I'm trying to make this simple to understand. In all the situations possible, the safest way to play that move is "Negate the Black Rose Summon with Solemn Warning" Thats for the Basic Explanation If you wana push your knowledge further read the explanation Below Now How you I know my opponent have MST in hands. Take all the field on consideration. Your opponent had a Card Trooper. He could have attacked your Alius and get a plus with the draw he gets from trooper. He dont knows that you have the Prison Facedown and Even if you have it, he Still have the Debris Dragon with 2000 Def to pretect him. If he shynchro sumon while you have oppression on the field, it means that he is baiting your oppression cuz otherwise, he will have nothing left on the field and he will just minus himself to deal 800 Lifepoints and tha's dumb when both players have high lifepoints. Think outside of the box !Well thats it for today. Hope you like my new segment guys and I really hope it will help some of you to take better decisions in Future Duels. Leave your comments and Impression Below to see if you like this or I should just Stop it cya guyz Later DGA Owner ~ Scorpion67 ~ The DLKz Meta Knight | |

| Well that's what a pro would do but that's what any decent player could easily do as well.
It's mostly an example of that a pro player checks all possible scenarios and make (hopefully) the best decision.

| These are basic to an extent. What makes the difference is ones ruling comprehension. So one may not know about how the chain link breakdown. This will be useful scorpion, not just "pro" plays but also rulings as well | |

| don't worry about those two they just fail trollin but some of these moves are, "pro" just because the player looks for all options before makin a game-changing move, I wanna see more drunken pro moves though | |

| first time i saw someone do that pro move on me i face palmed and said, "why didn't i think about that?!" haha
funny thing was that 800 lp that i paid for oppression was enough to lower my lp to a point where he could attack me for game =b

| Nice segment scorp vem/vongeh: it is semi basic but not everyone knows it. That's the point of articles: to teach newer or inexperienced players. Moreover, sometimes people may know things but not think things through. Someone may know how chains work but not think to chain mst to oppression to waste the opponents lp f/e | |

| Nice article and yeah you have to think why opp make that move before you got screwed and facepalm yourself saying how can I be so dumb and btw people should know the best thing is to save MST for the time the continous cards pay the cost and not only b/c they pay the cost but they think they are safe or they relie on those cards so is way more better to save cards like MST for that thing , Play Smart and Smart Build make the diff betwin Average duelists and Pro ones, keep it Up Vonghy I may help you with one of this | |

| nice scorp i havent check all the replies , just the main article , and it remind me last time i went to duel ( been kinda busy with school and work so havent been doing it so lately) i was testing my brand new karakuri deck ( i got it for 2 dark simorghs since they are going to be reprint ) i played againts one of the kinda succesful newbies in town , he also qualify for nationals, but oh well , to make a long story short , he was using macro cosmos packed with antimeta hate
so i opened set Royal Decree, and went first turn Naturia Barkion ( yes i did even if i had already a Decree) my opponent Activated macro background noise heard pointless is being negated by decree , so it just click to me and negated with barkion he inmeediatelly conceded , i just told him Flip it and there it was , the Grand Convergence .... so i would have lost about 4 cards that turn , and probably wouldnt be able to recover if i had just seen right inside the box
so great advice scorp | |
