| No. Reason being that spirit isn't actualy a monster type: if you look at Yata Garatsu for example it says Fiend/Spirit. Same with Tuners and Geminis. Furthermore, even if you could do that it wouldn't return to the hand because, even though all spirits return to the hand, that isn't an inherent attribute of spirits, it's written on their card text. If Skill Drain was up they would not return to the hand. Hope this helps  | |

| spirit is not a type, spirit monsters have different types and not the type returns them, but their effects and surgery doesn't change the effects.. | |
