I just had the funniest taxi drive in my life xD
Me (drunk) and 2 of my mates (drunk) getting a taxi from town to our accommodation...
we get told by the taxi company that it will cost us 5 pound...
taxi driver tries to charge us 7 pound, we refuse it cuz we got told it will be 5, he pulls over and says to get out or pay now, we say no, argue for a bit and he tells us it will be 6 pound we give him the 6 pound and argue while on the way
then we ring the taxi company on the way back and ask about the price, they say it is 5... we argue more with the driver and at the end he gives us the extra pound back so it is a 5 pound charge now... we still get his plate number and ring the company... turns out he isn't their driver and we got 2 pound off from the drive xD
moral of the story: being drunk makes u good at arguing and u saves some money
