Oh ho people from DGA! Since I got promoted to Teacher rank, it is my duty to teach/inform you guys what to look out for in the future! So I present you... The new topic: Cards to look out for! Basically I will name a card that will come out soon which will probably change the format or some decks and explain why it is good or god. XD
For this week, I pick: T.G. Hyper Librarian
The card itself: Overall, a 2400 atk and 1800 def synchro monster for an lvl 5 is absolutely amazing. Only needs a tuner and 1 or non-tuner monster Yay! It’s a dark monster which can feed for your DAD or Chaos Sorcerer in your graveyard. Spellcaster type monster what else can you say when you can turn this monster into an Arcanite Magician? Did I mention it’s a dark 2400 atk monster which gets over Catastor easily? =D
The effect: While this card is face-up on the field, each time a Synchron Monster(s) is Synchro Summoned, draw 1 card for each.
Who doesn’t like to draw an extra card each you or your opponent synchro summon? With this awesome card, decks which ABUSE of synchro summon can definitely take advantage and change the flow of the game with this card! Decks like chaos Plant, karakuri, Infernity (not sure if they want to draw tho), Six Samurais, Fish FTK/OTK, Dragunity, Flamvell, Zombie, X-Saber etc. If you think about it, it’s kinda like Maxx C in a way.
Combo? T.G. Hyper Librarian + Formula Synchron = Drawing 2 cards when you synchro summon Formula and going for Arcanite or Blackrose on your turn or opponent. T.G. Hyper Librarian + Rekindling = Over 9000? Haha, that is some example which is soo great and ridiculous. Tired of your opponent mass industry synchro summon? Why not get some mass hand advantage with this card.
People should consider this card in their extra deck by now, it will soon come out as a Shonen Jump Magazine promo in 1 or 2 months. So it is my pleasure to have informed you of this card awesomeness even though most people probably knew it. Oh and by the way I won't make a Trishula topix since everyone knows about it and it's coming out in a month. But This one card will be an absolute staple in most syncro based decks especially junk variants. Flamvells with their new support will be my personal choice. Will def harvest the Shonen Jumps when it comes out.
. I wrote a litle bit about him in my article I just posted but you went in to more detail and I like that. Tbh there's nothing I DON'T like about this card. He's level 5, not that hard to summon and makes him the perfect level to accel Blade Blaster. He has great atk and def for a level 5. He's dark, he gets under Catastor like you said and is food for Chaos and DAD. He's a spellcaster for Arcanite and Supreme Arcanite. And his effect is the brokenest thing ever
