The engine, that without a doubt cannot be changed, is:

3 Channeler

1-2 Dragon
2 Monk
3 Sign
2-3 Hunting
1 Egotist
2-3 Party

Ok, the idea is to use your hand to special summon more monsters and then get back your advantage with Hysteric Sign. With Monk, if you discard Sign it will activate, with Channeler, or Egotist if you have a Hunting Ground up you can pop your own Sign and profit. Or even Icarus if you're a little desperate. First turn rank 7 is super easy to make since you can discard a Harpie for Dragon and Channeler is level 7 when you control a Dragon. If you draw a Dragon that's ok unless it's 2...that kinda sucks. But still, it is a Harpie card to discard for Channeler or Hysteric Party. This deck suffers from a bad late game since Harpies are used up fast but it combos so well off of itself that it's worth a try. Backrow is usually not a problem at all because of Hunting Ground, Heavy, and Icarus, plus Sign restores your overextending so it is almost always worth it.

A friend of mine has been playing a variant that's awfully consistent with Blackwings. Will update if I can get you the decklist.

Not sure what kind of synergy they'll have other than being winged beasts for icarus and opening running Simorgh. They're both much better supported than they have been in recent memory so i think it would make them both weaker if anything...

Idk how exactly the deck runs but I know that Combined with Hunting Ground and all the Spell and Trap removal, it's really nasty. Haven't seen the guy in days so I'm working on it.

I do remember that Anti Spell Fragrance is main decked. That along with Simorgh is terrible.

Updated OP to explain deck better. Will add side deck soon. Book is just filler, I'm considering taking it and an Icarus out for 2 other traps. Also, with as good as Sign is, I run out of Harpies fast, so I might actually run Harpie Dancer. Thoughts?
