If you remember Konami announcing the release of Raging Battle, you'll remember Leo calling Power Tool Dragon "my ultimate mix of Dragon and Machine!"

Now we mustn't forget that before PT Dragon, there was another deck that was a mix of Dragon and Machine-Type monsters. Now the difference between that deck and the one card is that the deck was a lot better than the card will ever be (Take that, Leo! XD).

*clears throat* Anyway, the deck that I was talking about involves the Cyberdark monsters, used by one of the biggest badasses in Yu-Gi-Oh! anime at the time, Zane Truesdale. A few years after GX, the dragon/winged beast combo known as Dragunity came out. After that, millions saw opportunities to combine the two archetypes. I am one of those millions, and this is my latest Cyberdark deck honoring them.

CyberDragun:

Monsters:
2 - Cyber Dragon
2 - Cyberdark Edge
2 - Cyberdark Horn
2 - Cyberdark Keel

1 - Delta Flyer
2 - Dragunity Aklys
3 - Dragunity Legionnaire
1 - Dragunity Phalanx

3 - Hunter Dragon
2 - Masked Dragon

Spells:
1 - Allure of Darkness
1 - Dark Hole
2 - Dragon's Mirror
1 - Foolish Burial
1 - Future Fusion
1 - Heavy Storm
1 - Monster Reborn
2 - Mystical Space Typhoon
2 - Overload Fusion
1 - Pot of Duality

Traps:
1 - Karma Cut
1 - Return from the Different Dimension
2 - Solemn Warning
1 - Torrential Tribute
2 - Ultimate Offering

Extra Deck:
1 - Chimeratech Fortress Dragon
1 - Chimeratech Overdragon
2 - Cyberdark Dragon
2 - Five-Headed Dragon

1 - Black Rose Dragon
1 - Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 - Iron Chain Dragon
1 - Red Dragon Archfiend
1 - Stardust Dragon

1 - Leviair the Sea Dragon
1 - Number 17: Leviathan Dragon
1 - Number 39: Utopia
1 - Wind-Up Zenmaines

Now for some explanations:

First, the Cyber Side:

Now we all know the basics of how to play the Cyberdarks:
1. Get a Lv3 or lower dragon to the grave, preferably Hunter Dragon.
2. Summon CD Horn, Edge, or Keel.
3. Equip said dragon to CD's for big attack power.

As noted, Hunter Dragon is the main go-to dragon to equip with these three. And with cards like Future Fusion and Foolish Burial, there should be enough efficient way to get Hunter Dragon to the Graveyard for the Cyberdarks to feed from.

Now Chimeratech Fortress Dragon is a favorite of Extra decks because of the possibility of Cyber Dragon hitting the field to take advantage of the Machine-Type monsters on the field. Now while that may be one of the weaknesses of this deck, it is also one of it's strengths. Cyber Dragon can bring out CFD and Overdragon for you just as it can for them, only you'll be able to do it quicker since CyDra is in your deck and they'll probably have to side it in on Game 2.

Next we have the Dragunity Side:

Back in the day, the best Dragunity to use for the CD set would have been Dragunity Phalanx for his ability to summon himself after being equipped. That's still true today, though this deck doesn't use it as much. At least, not compared to the other two Dragunities in the Deck.

I'm not sure if anyone else here knew about this. However, for those that didn't know, Dragunity Legionnaire and Dragunity Aklys share an effect that is kinda similar to the effects of one of the meta's top tier decks, those insidious insects known as Inzektors. These two cards together can copy Inzektor Hornet's ability to destroy cards on your opponent's field. And the best part is they can summon each other! Summon Aklys and get Legionnaire from your hand, or summon Legionnaire and get Aklys from your graveyard. Either way, Aklys gets equipped to Legionnaire. Then the fun begins. Use Legionnaire's effect to send Aklys to the grave. That activates both cards' abilities, Legionnaire destroying one opponent's monster and Aklys's ability to destroy another of their cards of your choice.

Other cards:

Delta Flyer is a legendary dragon tuner on its own. Being able to change the level of a monster on your field by one sets you up for a Lv7 or 8 Synchro Summon with the Cyberdarks if you need to, as well as a Rk3 or 4 Xyz Summon.

Future Fusion/Dragon's Mirror/Overload Fusion: The main Fusion one-two punch combo for the deck. Future Fusion into DM or OF for Five-Headed Dragon or Cyberdark Dragon respectively.

Karma Cut is a tech I've found interesting in this deck. Used correctly, it can screw over a player needing an important monster on the field and/or in the graveyard. Not to mention discarding a card could provide a potential dragon target for your own graveyard.

Number 17: Leviathan Dragon is another interesting card in this deck for the fact that although it's an Xyz Monster, it's still a Dragon, meaning that it is legit for CD Dragon's equip requirements, which can use any dragon regardless of Level (or Rank in Leviathan's case).

Now with DM and OF taking monsters out of my grave, you'd think there would be no monsters for CD Dragon to get that 100 ATK per monster boost from right? Wrong! Return from the Different Dimension and Leviair the Sea Dragon takes care of that too by returning those banished monsters to the field for some more action, then tuning or overlaying them should the need arise, putting them back in the grave for good old CD Dragon to siphon off of again.

Though I've run into some problems in regards to my Extra deck and Side Deck. My Extra deck has a lot of potential to it, but space is my biggest issue. I have other cards I can put in there, but I'm not sure what to take out for them. Any input you guys can give on that matter is most appreciated.

As for the side deck, as much experience that I've had with this game, I'm still not that big of an expert with side decks. I have an idea for some cards that could go there as well, but I'm not sure they'll be as big a help. I'm not asking you guys to make one for me, but just for some hints to get me started. You'll be doing me a favor by helping me improve my deck building skills that way.

And there you have it, my new deck! Enjoy all!

idk why you have so much stuff devoted to Cyberdark Dragon, he's straight up awful. He's nothing but a beatstick and at best is an Axe of Despair equipped to a FHD. tbh this deck would probably be a million times better off just being straight dragunity. =/

Thanks for your opinion, Funch. Any suggestions on how I would make it better? Like what cards I should add in/take out?

I'd take out:

2 Cyber Dragon (side deck if using fortress dragon)
2 Cyberdark Edge, Horn & Keel
1 Delta Flyer
3 Hunted Dragon
2 Masked Dragon
2 Dragon's Mirror
2 Overload Fusion
1 Karma Cut
1 Return from the Different Dimension
2 Ultimate Offering

1 Chimeratech Overdragon
1 Chimeratech Fortress Dragon (side deck if run at all)
2 Cyberdark Dragon
1 Five-Headed Dragon
1 Iron Chain Dragon
1 Red Dragon Archfiend

This gives you 18 main deck slots and 7 extra deck spaces to really push into mono-dragunity quite effectively.

I guess since you're going straight dragunities you could have 3 phalanx 3 dragon ravine 3 dux you don't need 3 legionnaire it's fine at 2.

you could add 3 terraforming to thin your deck and if you have dead ones just discard it to use ravine's effect
