| I'm not sure is up with the reputation system in DGA but I can't affect it. I'm not sure if it's because I'm only a nooby apprentice or if it's something else. However, the rep system is a joke. I've noticed a couple of people with rep that is under -100. I've seen several people post in the Deck Center to get a negative rep for no reason at all. Personally, I think the reputation of all members needs to be reset and the reputation should be set so anybody can give a positive rep (only to be done 1 to 3 times a day) and be set so nobody can give negative rep.
IMO this place looks bad because of the random negative and positive reps. It's been bugging the piss out of me for a while and it's lowered my opinion of this place. Sorry if that sounds harsh but I actually like DGA and love most of it's members. I have loads of friends here and the rep system makes this place look horrible. At least imo.

| ^ first thing I agree with him/her
but it doesn't make the place bad since who gives a damn about reps lol, it's just little kids having fun with useless system so why bother?

| Well, I feel that this place is full of very talented duelists and when new members join this academy it would be horrible for them to get negative repped for posting in the deck center. We should encourage that, not persecute people for it. | |

| Pretty sure most negative rep is given to inflammatory posts and spam, not posting bad decks. Although I'm sure sometimes it does happen, a majority of the rep given is given for the appropriate reasons. But I do agree that the rep system really doesn't add anything to the site, and I wouldn't really be upset by the removal of negative rep, but at the same time, I really couldn't care much less if it stayed. | |

| I am sorry about that, but I truly don't know how to reset it, I tried to do this when we converted the testing system and dorms, but I couldn't find it... Since then it was made that you can vote for one users rep once every 8 hours, so it isn't such a big deal... or is it? | |

You can give rep once every hour (3600 seconds is what the time displays should you try to give rep before the time has elapsed).

| Oh! I can rep now, so somebody changed something. If possible, I'd still like to see the people with hordes of negative rep reset and the ability to neg someone gone. It is childish but it's already proven to be a problem. Hmm...I know you can do it....but I'm not sure how atm. We've never used rep in TWA or WDA. I'll look into it, later. Thanks Vongy-chan. | |

| If someone won't listen to reason, they deserve a neg rep. Ignorance is one thing, stupidity is another. | |

Funch hits the nail on the head yet again. Negative rep isn't necessarily a bad thing on a forum. It can (possibly) show who's a quality poster and who's a not-so quality poster. I've yet to see serious abuse of the system, anyway (ie. neg trains... as seen on a number of other forums). However, there are bound to be flaws (people that neg others for no justifiable reason or just for trolling). Meh, I dunno. I like the idea of negs TBH, but that's just me. If they're gone, so be it, it won't change much around here.

| The only reason there are people with massive neg reps is because Ryu went around and spammed negative rep on people he doesn't like. He's not active anymore, so no one abuses the system. | |

I would love to reset it if i could, but i looked for it as well and there doesn't seem to be a way to reset it. what violet said is also true, only ryu has ever abused the system, i rep up the people he -repped almost whenever they post, and ryu was given an official warning for it. but now he's gone bc he was butthurt that he wasn't chosen to be a mod.

| Nah, it's like Harper said. He didn't get the mod position, so he went to play other games instead. Also, even though it's not really necessary, I wish there was a way we could see who has rep in order from most to least. I mean, we all know Harper has godlike amounts of rep, but it's just weird how the memberlist can be sorted by humour, but not rep. I always found that odd. | |

| Lol, we're both loved. I'm pretty sure we have the two highest amounts of reps on the site. | |
