Perfection Deck Aticle

you probably all knows about this Epic new card " Herald Of Perfection " but i really wanted to make an article about it because i wanted to learn a bit more about it and share with you what i learn from Perfection decks writing this so i hope you will like this article

The 1st thing we will do is analyse Herald of perfection and his Ritual Spell card



" This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Dawn of the Herald". When your opponent activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect, you can send 1 Fairy-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard to negate the activation and destroy that card. "

This card effect is just ridiculous but the effect ain everything here. I think Konami guys smoke crack sometimes when they create cards because Herald Effect comes along with a powerlfull 2800 DEF. As long as this card is on defense, your almost invincible. Even Dark Armed Dragon canot beat this card with his attack, and activate his effect is really too risky.



" This card is used to Ritual Summon "Herald of Perfection". You must also Tribute monsters whose total level equals exactly 6 from the field or your hand. When "Herald of Perfection" is Summoned by the effect of this card, you can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to select 1 of the monsters used as a Tribute for the Ritual Summon, and add it from your Graveyard to your hand. "

Am I the only one who thinks Konami is under crack some times now ? When you ritual sumon Herald of Perfection, you can choose between keep the ritual in your graveyard for an eventual " Preparation of the Rites " ( because we are going to use this amazing spell card too ) or remove this ritual from play to add a fairy to your hand and already have a fairy to use for Herald of Perfection Effect. If you guys tought Pure Light decks where DEAD you were wrong .

Now that we analysed both of these broken cards togueter, the monst important thing to know is that we need to run a lot of fairy monsters in this deck if we want to make a very consistent Fairy stun deck. so i can easealy see this deck running 25 + monsters because all your counter cards will be replaced by fairies for herald effect. We will also need a deck thiner engine or a draw engine to bring Herald of Perfection very fast on the field. Another thing we must not ofrget is that Herald of Perfection is Level 6 and the level of the tribted monster(s) need to be exactly 6 so level 2 monsters can be good in here along with level 4 of course, but we will need some level 6 monsters as well. Lets check wich Fairies can help us make this deck work



I was saying before that Herald Of Perfection Effect was ridiculous and when we take a look at Krystia's effect we cant do nothing else than add this monster to the deck, The only thing that can beat Herald of Perfection is probably a LVL 8 Synchro Beater Like Red Dragon Archfiend. If krystia is on the field and you have fairys in your hand, you have nothing to fear. Note that if krystia is SP sumoned by her own effect, you can add a fairy from your grave to your hand ( this is getting ridiculous )



He is a Level 6 monster so he can easily be the monster we will tribute for Herald ritual but this monster have more to offer than his 6 stars my friends You can special sumon this monster by removing 2 light monsters from your graveyard so this monster can also help you to balance the number of fairies you have in your graveyard For Krystia OFC. This monster is a must in this deck



Well this monster fits really good in this deck. He can work as a Kuriboh to stop OTK's if you dont have Herald and you can dump it if you miss a fairy type monster for krystia. You can even bring him back with krystia to be sure to control the life points you will loose. It can be very technical if used wisely.



I dont think i need to explain why we need one of the most broken cards in Yugioh in this fairy deck. His effect is self explanatory XD



This will be our Deck thiner in our Herald deck but nova sumoner have more to offer than only thin our deck. Nova can bring a light fairy monster in ATK or DEF position. He can help you to get Honest in early game and he fill the grave for krystia. Really usefull IMO


Alchemist really made his place in Yugioh Recently. 1st Realeased as a comon card in The Dark emperror Structure Deck, Dimensional alchemist is now a gold rare in gold series 3. 1 of the important things to know in a Perfection deck is that you wont sumon that often if your opponent have a big hand or a big backrow EXCEPT if the sumon will not be a -1 for Herald of Perfection Effect. If you sumon Alchemist and he get destroyed eventualy you can add a fairy removed from play to your hand so its a good sumon.



I didnt explain all the choices i made for the monsters cuz some of them just dont need explanation. now that we now the techs of the monsters for this deck, we will check the support cards for it. I will use Upstart goblin as draw engine because its not really risky in here. It thins the deck and giving 1000 LP's to your opponent wont hurt you really much.

Of course we are going to use the staples Heavu storm and MST and we are going to add Giant trunade because this deck can be counter by Light Imprisoning mirror or Royal oppression, but thats only if they draw them before you sumon herald of perfection of course.

So this is how a Perfection deck will looks like. The deck is very competitive. You can suomn herald in very early game and when you do it, you can counter almost everything your opponent will throw at you. I tested the deck already and it works very well. This will probably be the 1st deck of the new generation of Stun Decks. I hope you liked the article



Tips and Advices if you play against Perfection Decks

1 thing to keep in mind with perfection deck is that continous spells like Oppression and Light Imprisoning mirror ar gambles against those kind of decks. You need to draw it almost in 1st hand if you want to counter your opponent so in Canada people add Lava Golem to the side deck to counter them. if you run lava golem and also add light emprisoning or oppression or both, you can easily counter those decks. thats just an advice from my experience for you guys

I would like to mention some other monsters though that go great with the deck

Tethys, Goddess of Light
When you draw a Fairy-Type monster(s), you can reveal 1 of those monsters to draw 1 more card.

This card will allow u to have almost unlimited cards to discard to negate your opponents cards, In my opinion this card is a must have 3 in this deck

Marshmallon
The controller of a monster that attacks this face-down card takes 1000 damage after damage calculation. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally.)

This card will protect your lifepoints and serve as tribute for Tethys

Senju of the Thousand Hands
When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, you can select 1 Ritual Monster Card from your Deck and add it to your hand. Then shuffle your Deck.

This card is not as good as manju, but it helps u get to Perfection faster.

Skelengel
FLIP: Draw 1 card.

You may not think much of this card, but this draw 1 combos well with Tethys, and its also a level 2 that u can use as a tribute for perfection with one of your level 4s

has perfection come out in KCVDS yet?

lol i hope it will be on the next update, that card is one heck of a card,

sorry guys, but KCVDS does not hold Herald of Perfection

i like adviced ritual art and normal fairies like happy lover and moky moky haha

i have noticed one monster that kills you strategy is colossal fighter, especially if its pumped up with at least one warrior

not if you have a kristya on your field haha

Nice article scorp, and nice card! Who'dve though that a ritual monster would be so often used? What do you think about replacing the upstart goblins with jars of greed? I hate giving my opponent lp, and it's chainable, so not much opportunity for it to be destroyed. Also what do you think about gold sarc for this deck?
Ps: I like tino's ideas. Except senju, not enough space for him. And prolly not marshmallon either (maybe we could side him)

well harped, sarco is not needed in this deck, and upstart makes you draw, njmot your oppoenet XD. Well tino's idead are good too, i just made a list of my herald, there other ways to to ryun herald. The nice thing is that herald is onKC now, you can try them and make a probably better build than mine
